Thank God it’s Friday

"Thank God it's Friday!"
- Has the week felt like it dragged on?
- Have you been counting down the days until the weekend?
- Have you had an overwhelming week that you don't want to socialize anymore?

Here are 3 tips to make sure you are not rushing to mark the end of the workday and can appreciate your weekend.
1️⃣ Be mindful: Take a few moments to pause and bring awareness to this moment. Ground yourself in the here and now and identify what emotions you may be carrying from the week or the day
2️⃣ Reflect on your work week: Before wrapping up your workday, take a moment to reflect on what you've managed during the week, even if it was clearing your inbox, responding to emails or attending meetings. Acknowledged your accomplishments, big or small, and acknowledge the progress you have made. This can give a sense of closure and satisfaction.
3️⃣ Set intentions for the weekend: Rather than viewing the weekend as a break from work, set intentions for how you want to spend your time. Identify activities that bring you joy, rest, and fulfillment. Whether it's spending quality time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies, or engaging in self-care, purposefully planing your weekend makes it more meaningful to you.

Remember the transition to the weekend is an opportunity to shift gears and invest in your wellbeing.
